Dear Tournament Participant;
On Monday, June 4, 2007, Fort Worth’s oldest faith-based community service organization has scheduled its 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the beautiful Mira Vista Country Club in southwest Fort Worth, site of the 1994 Texas State Amateur and the 1997 Southern Amateur Golf Championships. Our goal is simple ~ raise much-needed funds to help support the creative initiatives that benefit the homeless citizens of Fort Worth. We have three ways you can help us… First, consider becoming one of our UGM Golf Tournament Sponsors. Your $1,500 tax-deductible contribution will help pay the basic cost of the event. Note that a golf four-some is included in the price of your sponsorship. Second, sign-up as many golfers as possible who would like to spend a June afternoon on the lush green Mira Vista fairways. Our Florida scramble tournament will feature practice and lunch at 11:00 am followed by a 12:00 noon shotgun start. The cost to register a single golfer is just $150 which includes lunch, practice balls, a golf cart and green fees. Finally, and probably the most important need we have is for your prayers, that God will bless us with a successful tournament. The ability to serve the needs of others who are so for less fortunate than most people will be the greatest measure of our success. For more information regarding UGMs 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament, please contact the Mission’s president, Don Shisler, at 817-335-2504, or Steve Grissom, our tournament director, at 817-284-1121, or email Steve at sgrissom@aatcnet.org. Both of these gentlemen can answer your questions and get you, your friends and your co-workers involved in a fun and very worth while community event. Thanks so very much for supporting the Mission.
